Well, the Parisians were not rude as I have always been told. Maybe it’s another case of conventional wisdom gone wrong? Anyways, my favorite place to hang out in Paris was at La Defense. It is a major business district of Paris with neat buildings and a concrete park. Finally seeing the Mona Lisa and Eiffel Tower also topped the list. It just so happened that the Da Vinci Code movie came out while I was in Europe so I watched it when returned home making for a neat experience to see the places I had just been to.

The Eurostar, the high speed train connecting Paris and London, is amazing. I didn’t realize how smooth, quiet, and fast it would be. Although it costs a lot, it is probably easier than catching a flight.
