London, England: May 2006

London, England

I was a little worried by arriving in London at 11:00 at night, alone, carrying a big pack, and not knowing where I was going. I figured I would have to walk down strange, dark, empty streets to find my hotel, but it was nothing like that. After jumping off of the tube from the airport, I was only a short walk to my hotel. The streets were full of people, who strangely seemed to be as lost as me.

I was able to see a lot of the main attractions in just a couple of days such as the clock tower (Big Ben), the famous phone booths, the Queen’s Guards, the Tower Bridge, and a lot more. And if you ever plan to go to London, make sure you bring a lot of money. I was running out fast having to pay $5 for a bottle of water, or a coke!
